Limmud NY

Limmud NY was founded in December 2003 to invigorate, celebrate, and inspire Jewish life by bringing together Jews from across a wide spectrum of experiences, ages, and backgrounds for a three-day retreat of Jewish learning and culture. Participants will be immersed in the richness and breadth of Judaism through a wide variety of programming, including text study, poetry, Israeli politics, philosophy, performance, film, and art. Limmud NY is driven by the belief that diversity of perspective, dedication to Jewish learning in its broadest sense, and a strong sense of volunteerism are keys to engaging and inspiring Jewish individuals and building and strengthening Jewish community. The Limmud NY retreat will be held on Martin Luther King Weekend, January 13-16, 2006 in the Catskill Mountains of New York State at the Kutsher’s Resort.
